Selle San Marco Aspide: Z-Zero

I recently have had many Selle San Marco Aspide saddles to work on. Both Carbon FX and Super Leggera models. Thanks to Parlee Cycles for providing me with their Z-Zero logo for this super light Super Leggera.

Selle San Marco Aspide: RD & Roll Pouch

Aspide Super Leggera recovered in black kangaroo, concept design by Raymond. Accompanying saddle roll pouch with space for a tube and a couple of small bits and pieces. Being a member of the RCC Raymond also picked up a set of Busyman x Rapha CC end caps while he was in Melbourne.

Selle San Marco Aspide: Bianchi Eagle

The subtle Bianchi eagle is just a relief emboss and the celeste is introduced to the nose of the saddle only. Bar tape to match and custom Busyman end caps.

Fizik Arione: Celeste Bianchi Eagle

With my leather techniques it can be difficult working with logos, especially when they have fine detail. You always have to be open to the possibility that the end result may not really look at all like the logo.

Fizik Arione: Natural Botanical

For Colnago project with elaborately engraved cranks, delta brakes and seat post. Reference for the saddle was taken from baroque motifs along with the Colnago logo.

Fizik Arione VSX: Grey

What a pleasure it has been corresponding with Mr Miyamoto leading up to completing this set for his steel road bike: Grey calf leather with purple to blue fade perforations detail. Equally entertaining to read his blog from time to time.

Fizik Arione: Art Deco

Darren's first Arione by Busyman. The broken reference to the classic Arione lines resulted in an architectural art deco feel. The colours of the frame are all represented in the perforation highlights.

The third Arione I've done for Darren. Taking reference from his new Stoemper frame the stars have resulted in a really fun design.

Selle Italia Flite: STORM TROOPER

The second saddle I've done for Peter, this time he did the artwork. All he needed to know was the size and spacing limits of the holes. Great timing with the release of the latest movie, considering he's been on the waiting list for  more months that I care to admit.

Fizik Arione: Fluro Skull

The second Arione I have done for Darren features the halftone human skull motif in fluorescent yellow perforations. Every hole is punched by hand!

KH initials in bright orange with repeating key-line perforations. Bar tape perforation detail designed to compliment the saddle.

Fizik Arione: Speedvagen Japanese

This text is a lot of fun! A different section of the Surprise Me lettering including some Japanese characters in the highlight colours of Stan's dark army green Speedvagen. Graded perforation bar tape also features all of these colours in different proportions.

The typography detail reflects Speedvagen's Surprise me 2015 paint scheme on Nick's lavender Speedvagen. Arranging the perforations for the text was not easy but kind of fun. Left and right bar tapes also have different colours.

Specialized Romin: Speedvagen

Two sets of bar tape and a Surprise Me saddle for JD's Surprise Me Speedvagen. Unsure of which colours to highlight the tape we decided to make two options.
