A turned wood portafilter handle which I wrapped in kangaroo leather for one of Specht Design's customised La Marzocco coffee machines.

Prologo Baum Ristretto

Declan's Baum Ristretto has seen a couple of paint schemes inspired by the design sensibilities of Sir Paul Smith. Some might say it's a bit overboard but we certainly had a lot of fun with both the saddle and the two piece saddle bag. The bar tape in white leather has perforation colours to match the saddle. The saddle in the last photo is after a few years riding the previous iteration of the Ristretto.

Mountain Goat: Selle San Marco Shortfit

Garry's Selle San Marco Shortfit saddle in whiskey colour kangaroo whip leather. The perforated design in pale celeste and deep red depict the face of a mountain goat and on the Specialized inner tube holder a section of serpentine alpine road.

Geobimized LOUE

Gebiomized's Area Cut-Out saddle recovered in Kangaroo whiskey whip leather with cream colour perforated details for LOUE Cycles in Singapore.

Bikes Make Me Happy!

 I covered a couple of full carbon fibre Mcfk saddles and made some 'monogram' bar tape for a Bikes Make Me Happy, a shop in South Korea. They are working with high end custom frames and components including Richard Sachs, No22 and Pegoretti.

Form Throne for Above Category Prova

To match the awesome paint by Toronto's VéloColour I customised this Form Throne saddle and made matching bar tape. Highlights on the frame, fork and hubs are in the form of three coral red dots on a colour block base of light purple, two light olive greens and a mid grey blue. Through Above Category Eduardo has realised some very wonderful custom bikes.

Antares Sunset Fade

With Bastion's signature carbon layout perforated pattern Doug's saddle, bar tape and saddle bag feature a sunset inspired fade behind the perforated black leather. The saddle is a Fizik Vento Antares R1 and the leather is all kangaroo.

Bontrager for a Bastion

Gebiomized Sleak Whiskey

For Eugene's very stylish Baum Orbis +. I recovered the Gebiomized Sleak saddle in whiskey kangaroo leather with perforated detail in copper which references the Baum's new tree logo.

Custom Copmpact Two Piece Saddle Bag

For Alan I made this micro compact two piece saddle bag custom designed to fit a few select items including a little rechargeable electric tyre pump, some tyre levers and a multi-tool. 

Power Full Cover

For Anton's Baum I have made a second recovering of his S-Works Power saddle after my first one started peeling off. To hopefully prevent the same thing happening again I have made a full cover which is glues securely to the underside of the saddle rather than tucking into the very narrow edges. Perforated detail is in a metallic grey and Baum's burnt orange.

Selle Italia SLR C-59 Black on Black

 Minimal styling on Ryan's saddle custom covering. We added 3mm of EVA padding to the un-padded base and detailed with black perforations in the seat area following the contour of the central cut-out. Gusset panels at both ends of the cut-out and underneath at the centre back help to achieve a smooth finish with as little wrinkling as possible. With the padding and leather the saddle weighed in at approximately 97g.

Fizik Aliante Open Gold Stripes

 For Scott's new Baum Orbis+. The perforated gold line on the saddle takes reference from the paint details on his Triumph Thruxton Final Edition motorcycle.

Basque Fizik Aliante Tempo: Wind Comb

 Celebrating the iconic Basque sculptures Piene del Viento on Zool's beloved San Sebastian seaside. The saddle features raised motifs of the sculptural forms and some perforated details in the colours of the Basque flag.

Sachs White Fizik Argo

Stark white kangaroo leather with perforated white logo detail for Justin's Richard Sachs bicycle.

 

Brooks C13 Red

In red kangaroo whip leather covered this Brooks C13 Carved saddle and made some bar tape for Deveren's new bike via The Service Course in Girona, Spain. Flowers style bar tape with gold and sky blue details.

Brooks C15 White Leather

Bradley's Brooks C15 covered in stark white kangaroo leather accompanied by some minimal leather bar tape. The leather is chrome tanned kangaroo designed for use in motorcycle leathers. The original canvas surface of the C15 was taking its toll on the seats of Bradley's pants.

Selle San Marco Regal: Colnago White

 For Marks Colnago Master Più restoration project. The Regal saddle is covered in antique white vegetable tanned kangaroo leather, metallic purple graded perforation details, genuine San Marco copper rivets and a subtly raised logo.

A Yellow Turbo Saddle

Gary's turbo saddle recovered in plain yellow cow leather; simple without any branding or graphic detailing.

Form Throne: Above Category: Prova: VéloColour

 Art Deco inspired design to coordinate with the VéloColour paint scheme on Eduardo's Prova road bike, via Above Category in California. The saddle is a Throne from Form Cycling and the matching bar tape is single row perforated with all the paint colours showing through.

Rudy's Custom Bar Tape

 For Rudy's new Festka, black matte textured leather tape with three row dense offset perforations in red and occasional randomly placed blue dots throughout.

Fabric Scoop Recoveries for Vanilla

 Two Fabric Scoop saddles with floral bar tapes, frame pump straps and a saddle bag for two Vanilla Classic bikes.

Selle Italia SLR: Speedvagen Polka Dots

 It's always a pleasure and a design and technical challenge to realise all of the detail of Hai's vision for his saddles. This time for his Speedvagen with a full on over the top paint scheme we did a saddle 'with the lot'.

S-Works Power Flower
