Bird Leaf Word

A trio for riding buddies Mike, Jean and Nigel. A lovely gesture of Mikes.

Bridie's Birds

Just delivered this saddle to Bridie O'Donell. It's the 2nd time I've recovered this saddle, the last one she wore out completely - she rides a lot, maybe too much. This time I've used a synthetic leather called Lorica. Thanks to The New Timer for introducing me to this "vegan leather". I anticipate it will survive maybe a little longer than it's predecessor.

Grey Tape

Grey tape with bright green bits. Everything done by hand, very soft and supple. It's a lovely leather.

Pea Green

Thankyou Cards: Richard Sachs

Just found this on the Velocipede interwebs. The little offcuts of the tape I did for Richard put to a good use.

Naturally

Fizik Vesta

His & Hers

Hers

A Fizik Vesta with matching bar tape in natural vege tanned leather with purple highlighted perforations to match the details on this lovely new Signal frame. The green backed perforations are another story, they're supposed to be on a grey tape to match another frame. More on that later.

Curvaceous Comfort

David swears by this saddle for comfort. It's curvaceous and generously padded. I haven't recovered one like this for a quite some time, I had forgotten the challenges that the voluminous form presents. Of course the kangaroo leather was perfect for the job, conforming beautifully to the form of the saddle. This should give David plenty more years of comfortable riding.
