Lug Heart Arione

One of my more subtle recover jobs, this Arione Tri saddle uses Kangaroo leather with perforations and de-boss technique to mirror the lug detail on MP's bike. A black Llewellyn road bike featuring polished stainless lugs with heart shaped cut-outs filled in with red. On the saddle the perforations are backed with red for the heart and silver for the lug shape.

Pink and Grey Prologo

One of my other favourite leathers is this grey vegetable tanned cow hide (thanks Marissa). The Prologo Scratch Nack features pink perforated detailing on the seat section and a neat little perforated logo on the drive side. Matching tape of course with stitching too. We really could do with a recolouring of the lack plastic trim, Alex? Also for a Firefly in Taiwan.

Prologo Baby Blue

For Firefly's Taiwan distributor - black Prologo with pastel blue perforated detail. Subtle logo de-boss on the nose.

SLR White Maple

Chris' old SLR carbon saddle had seen much better days. The mountain bike treatment had worn away a lot of leather. The recover is in white kangaroo with the Canadian maple impression at the back. Perforations highlighted in red mimic the internal structure of the leaf. The bar tape is for his other bike, white with subtle pink perforations to match pale pink anodised skewers.

Riveting Antique Antares

Looking kind of medieval the Antares is recovered in hand dyed kangaroo - dark antique brown finish with matching bar tape perforated through. The rivets are for looks only in burnished copper.

On the bike - Parlee

Mantra with Blurred Tape

Selle San Marco Mantra in black kangaroo with blue highlights and blurred matching bar tape for a local Parlee. The tape does not photograph very nicely, much nicer wrapped.

Mantra Orange

Black and orange kangaroo San Marco Mantra for HK Firefly. There was also matching tape.

Arione World Champion

Another old Arione CX given a new lease of life with a fresh kangaroo skin. The world champion rainbow stripes, I just realised they're also in the shape of a rainbow! Cool! I particularly like the middle black stripe. Usually all my perforation work is backed with a contrast colour, a way of introducing a highlight colour to the saddle without compromising its durability. There is matching bar tape which is simply 'black on black' perforations.

Juan's Ariones

Together with two sets of matching antique brown bar tape Juan's Arione twins are on their way to France. The carbon braided Arione CX has Juan's name de-bossed on the drive side and 1957 on the other. The other one is subtly embroidered. Speedy dots perforations design retain a certain degree of 'Fizik Arione-ness' in the saddle. All hand dyed - Kangaroo for the saddle - Bovine for the bar tape.

Romin Pro: Boss Blue

Black kangaroo with boss blue highlights to coordinate back with Jeff's soon to be new IF build. The Romin is decorated in the style of the 'Casino Classic' perforation arrangement. Matching bar tape - this bike is going to look pretty nice!

Aliante, Tape and Roll: Black and Blue

The complete leather set for Andrew's upcoming Baum. The Aliante is perforated in the 'Speedy Dots V' variation. Saddle, tape and roll fastening strap all have perforations backed with light blue to match the frame paint scheme. Off white stitch detail also matching to the paint. Now we just have to wait to see that paint scheme on the finished bike.

White Chicane with Tape

A Specialized Chicane saddle recover designed by Peter for his other bike, with matching tape. White kangaroo, black stitches and red backed perforations.
