Fizik Aliante: Ichico in Dark Olive

For Stan's new Speedvagen with perforated Ichico text graphic detail. This Fizik Aliante 00 is wrapped in a dark olive green calf leather and is paired with matching bar tape. The perforations pick up the detail colours on the frame; silver, gold and orange.

Fizik Aliante VS: Carved IV

The fourth in a series of custom carved Fizik Aliante VS saddles for Ross. It's been fun experimenting with different patterns to account for the added surface area of the extracted section of padding. Ross carved out the foam himself and each of the four were slightly different in shape, placement and depth.

Specialized Power: Red & Blue Weave

Perforations in a chequered pattern with diagonal sections in fluoro red and pale dusty blue. The pattern takes reference from a woven carbon fibre tube and they way it reflects light. The colours are inspired by Anthony's very boldly coloured S-Works shoes. The saddle is S-Works Power 143mm in kangaroo leather. The coordinating bar tape is in a cow leather.

Recovering Darren's scratched up Berk Ploh in black kangaroo leather with muted blue perforations that follow the saddle curves. Matching bar tape and a set of the Busyman bar end caps.

2011 to 2022

We recently saw Faith's Mixte parked outside the state library. Back in 2011 I did the leather covered mattress saddle, handle grips and some ornate mud-flaps. The saddle has been changed out after eventually wearing through, I've replaced the handle grips once and the mud-flaps are ageing very gracefully or perhaps disgracefully.

Fizik Aliante: Big Perforations

Another white leather saddle for Bruce. We decided to make the perforations through the centre much larger than usual to be sure to see the contrast colours behind. This one has a dark red in the middle flanked by a black row and then smaller silver holes.

Turbo: Chevrons

Gold and red detail behind white perforated leather. The white is so bright it's difficult to make out the contrast colour behind which are in a chevron pattern.

Velo Gel Zone: Moulton

For John's iconic Moulton bicycle he asked me to upgrade his very round and super comfortable Velo Gel Zone saddle. Black kangaroo leather, multi-panel construction, perforated top panel with red highlights, 100% hand stitched. Thank you John, it was a pleasure working on this saddle for you!

Fizik Argo Vento Saddle: Full Custom Job with Black Magic Paint

 It was great to work with Black Magic Paint in Portland Oregon on this Pinarello full custom makeover. The saddle is the Fizik Argo Vento. The perforation design on both saddle and bar tape takes reference from the frame's deep purple and fluoro coral camouflage paint scheme.

The two piece saddle bag in very dark almost black navy blue kangaroo leather and matching bifold wallet. Featuring stainless steel harness buckle and brighter blue piping on the bag, blue perforations on both and all the usual features on the wallet - 6 card slots, two hidden side slots and a spacious bills compartment.
