Special Chicanes

Three special Chicanes finished for Nick the saddle man at Specialized in California. The saddles arrived at my studio with custom paintwork on the underside of the shell and foam blocks ready for me to attach. I didn't have to remove any original covering - what a pleasure that was. Cover design by Specialized inspired by some of my previous pieces. The main leathers are all kangaroo including the bright red one.

Chicane Classic: Black, Red and White

Peter designed this Chicane custom recover to work back with one of my tape designs with the primary concern to place the stitch detail in area that would not rub against the rider's shorts. Black kangaroo leather with white double stitch and red perforation detail on both the saddle and tape.
