One Piece Musette

I gifted Emir my old shoulder bag back in 2018 when we met up in Türkiye. He's been using it for so many years and the leather was starting to wear, I felt it was definitely time for a new one.

SLR Superflow Brandy Stitched

I refinished this Selle Italia original model SLR Superflow saddle featuring seam lines and detailing adapted from an older SLR Flow. The lines and detailing were adjusted to suit the shape of the Superflow and the front end carbon fibre trim has been padded out and covered over. The leather is a vegetable tanned kangaroo in matte brandy colour. Every stitch and perforation is done by hand, my hand. The other object here in the photo is some matching handlebar tape in the same leather.

 

SLR Hand Dyed, Stamped, Tesselate

Joachim's Selle Italia SLR Tekno saddle covered with dark purple ombre hand dyed kangaroo leather, perforated in a tessellated pattern reminiscent of M.C Escher's art. The perforations are in a metallic green and gold the embossed text is in Afrikaans of which I am ignorant of the meaning.
